Part A – Terms of Use, Part I: Website and information offering
1. Provider, contact and scope of application
These terms of use apply to the information available at:
https://www.AlexBodi.com
The provider and responsible for the terms of use is:
SCANDIC ASSETS FZCO
Dubai Silicon Oasis DDP
Building A1/A2
342001 Dubai / UAE
Business License Number 050-3124863
Contact: [email protected]
Telephone: +971 56 929 86 – 90.
The complete provider details, including the authorized representative, can be found in the legal notice.
The website serves to provide company, personal, project, media and, if applicable, product information as well as to establish contact. If a specific offer goes beyond this, its content, the responsible contractual partner and special conditions will be stated directly with the offer. Naming a brand or person does not automatically mean that the person named becomes a contractual partner.
These conditions are not general terms and conditions of sale for an online shop, a financial services agreement or a consent to data processing. They do not replace legally required product, consumer, price or cancellation information for a contract offer set up later.
2. Contractual inclusion and relationship to supplementary conditions
Simply visiting or reading the website does not in itself constitute consent to additional contractual obligations. If a user agreement is to be concluded for a special function, the applicable terms and conditions will be made available to you before you submit your contractual declaration and will be effectively incorporated in accordance with the legal requirements. Legal rights and obligations apply regardless.
For separately offered contact, media or digital functions, the “Supplementary Terms of Use – Part II” may be added. These only apply to the function specifically recorded and actually provided there and only if effectively included. A reference to a possible function does not prove that it already exists.
Individual agreements take precedence over pre-formulated conditions. Specific service descriptions specify the agreed service; they may not restrict mandatory legal protective rights. In the event of a contradiction, an interpretation must first be made that is compatible with the purpose of the contract and mandatory law. A blanket priority for future website versions is not agreed.
3. Type and significance of information
We prepare information carefully and correct any significant errors that are identified. Project plans, drafts, presentations and future statements must be distinguished from processes that have already been completed based on their recognizable character. A visualization is not proof that a depicted location, an event, an outdoor advertisement or a product structure actually existed in this form.
Information on the website does not constitute a binding contractual offer or individually given professional advice without an express declaration to the contrary. Whether a specific statement contains a guaranteed property, quality agreement or guarantee depends on its actual content and the applicable law; A corresponding legal effect cannot be generally excluded by these conditions.
For time-dependent information, the stated status must be taken into account. If a specific decision depends on current technical, medical, legal, economic or contractual circumstances, these must be examined separately. These notes do not limit our statutory information, clarification and due diligence obligations.
4. Contact, offers and business initiation
A general inquiry generally does not create a contract for the purchase of a product, participation, advice or any other paid service. An automated confirmation of receipt initially only confirms receipt of a message, unless it expressly and effectively declares acceptance of the contract.
A binding contract requires the necessary consistent declarations. In particular, the service, contractual partner, price, currency, taxes, delivery or service conditions and applicable special information are clarified. Payment obligations do not arise solely from reading or downloading freely accessible information.
When making business inquiries, please provide accurate information about your identity and any authority to represent you. We do not ask for any extraneous information. If an identity or company verification is necessary and legally permissible for a specific transaction, you will receive the relevant information before the verification begins.
5. Permitted Use and Protection of Systems
You may access and use the publicly accessible content within the scope of applicable law and actually granted usage rights. In particular, unauthorized intrusion into protected systems, circumvention of effective access security, the introduction of harmful software and intentional or unlawful excessive burdens that impair operations are not permitted.
The website may not be used for fraud, impersonation, threats, unlawful harassment, distribution of unlawful content or interference with the rights of third parties. This does not prohibit the naming of actual grievances, legitimate criticism and the exercise of legal rights to complain or obtain information.
Automated access is not generally illegal simply because it is automated. Their admissibility depends, among other things, on access authorization, technical load, data protection, copyright and database law and, if applicable, effectively agreed conditions. Uses permitted by law are not overturned by an undifferentiated prohibition clause.
6. Copyrights, trademarks and personal rights
Texts, photographs, videos, graphics, design elements, software and other content may be protected by copyright or otherwise. Trademarks, company names, names and images can enjoy independent protection. The publication does not grant any rights beyond the recognizable purpose or an express license.
Legal restrictions, such as legal quotation or other legally permitted uses, remain unaffected. The absence of a copyright notice does not mean that content is free of rights. Likewise, a mention on the website may not imply an advertising recommendation, partnership or approval to use a personal image.
Media materials may contain separate usage information. In particular, the purpose, scope, source information, processing, duration and rights of third parties shown must be taken into account. Without a clear license, any use beyond this requires prior clearance of rights. Inquiries can be made to [email protected] be directed.
7. Product information and scientific collaboration
As far as products, ingredients or research and development projects are presented, we differentiate between general information, advertising statements, specific test results and binding product information. Legally required labels, warnings and instructions for use of a product actually offered remain relevant.
The contractually agreed testing of products is carried out for the test items commissioned in collaboration with the Slow Medicine Research Institute, HP Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Dieter Lazik, Olympic Trail 7, 14471 Potsdam. The collaboration does not mean that every product mentioned on the website has been tested, nor that all batches, applications or advertising claims are covered by a test.
A test contract or a scientific collaboration is not a government approval, a general guarantee of safety and not a blanket clinical proof of effectiveness. The type, scope, method, time and limits of information of a specific test result used must be recognizable. A professional or institute title does not replace legally required product conformity.
The Website does not provide individual diagnosis or treatment without a separate, legally permissible agreement. References to health topics do not change the fact that personal circumstances and appropriate qualified advice may be necessary for appropriate professional decisions. Legal claims due to defective products or incorrect information remain unaffected.
8. Integrity, KYC, KYB and AML
For specifically required and legally permissible tests, there is cooperation with CRIF Germany in accordance with the respective contractual agreements. KYC (“Know Your Customer”) refers to the verification of identity and, if necessary, other relevant customer information. KYB (“Know Your Business”) refers to the examination of companies, such as their existence, representation and, if applicable, ownership structure. AML (“Anti-Money Laundering”) refers to measures to prevent and detect money laundering.
Such a check is not triggered solely by your visit to the website. The scope and legal basis depend on the respective process. In particular, it is not claimed that SCANDIC ASSETS FZCO is subject to all European obligations for banks or other parties subject to money laundering law solely because of this cooperation.
Test results may be incomplete or contain confusion. Significant adverse decisions require the legally required protective measures and appropriate review. Information on the processing of personal data, the legal entities involved and your rights is contained in the data protection declaration or the specific information on the review process.
9. Media and technical monitoring
Media monitoring is carried out by Prof. Dr. Stefan Haupt, Reinbeckstraße 21, D-12459 Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany, https://www.haupt-rechtsanwaelte.de, within the scope of the order agreed for this purpose. This is not regulatory oversight and is not a representation that any publication has been subject to prior legal review or regulatory approval.
The technical monitoring of certain applications is carried out by solutions from Darktrace, https://www.darktrace.com, supports. The scope and effectiveness depend on the products actually used, their configuration and additional organizational measures. This does not guarantee absolute safety or trouble-free operation at all times.
We remain responsible for the tasks legally assigned to us. Working with external experts or service providers does not transfer our legal obligations to them across the board and does not automatically establish a contractual relationship between you and the respective partner.
10. External links and offers from third parties
Links can lead to independent offers from third parties. Their contents and conditions are to be distinguished from our own offers. Before transmitting sensitive information or concluding a transaction, you should check who the actual recipient and contractual partner is.
The legal rules remain relevant for our own content, statements that we consciously adopt and other actions that are legally attributable to us. A blanket exclusion of liability for all external references is not agreed. If we receive a comprehensible indication of an illegal link, we will examine the necessary measures in accordance with our legal responsibility.
11. Availability and changes to the information offered
A free information offering can be updated, expanded, redesigned or discontinued for objective reasons. Maintenance work, disruptions or security measures may temporarily affect accessibility. A specific permanent availability is only owed if it is expressly agreed or results from mandatory law.
Existing paid contracts or binding service commitments will not be unilaterally canceled. For changes to a contractually agreed digital product, the relevant legal requirements and, if applicable, effectively agreed special conditions apply. A general website clause does not replace these requirements.
12. Responsibility and Liability
The statutory liability regulations apply. These conditions do not contain a blanket exclusion of damages, warranty rights or other legal claims. In particular, claims due to injury to life, body or health, intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty and legally binding product liability are not excluded or restricted.
Other statutory claims also remain unaffected. References to informational purposes, technical risks, external content or the use of AI do not eliminate responsibility for one's own illegal actions or for a duty that has actually been assumed. An obligation to indemnify us from all third-party claims, regardless of our own responsibility, is not agreed.
13. Data protection, electronic communications and security information
The processing of personal data is based on the legal requirements and the applicable data protection information. Agreeing to the Terms of Use is not a blanket consent to advertising, profiling, biometric verification or international data transfers.
Please do not transmit ID copies, health information, login details or payment information via an inappropriate communication channel. If their transmission is lawfully necessary for a specific process, a suitable channel must be determined. A security notice does not release us from our own obligations to protect incoming data.
If you suspect a security gap, you can contact us at [email protected] contact. Such a contact method does not constitute permission for unauthorized security tests or access to third-party data. Lawful reports and objective participation in troubleshooting will be handled appropriately.
14. Consumer rights, applicable law and courts
To the extent that these conditions effectively become part of a user agreement, German law applies. For consumers, this choice of law must not result in them being deprived of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law that would be applicable without the choice of law; In particular, the requirements and protective effects of Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation remain unaffected.
The legal rules apply to international and local jurisdiction. In particular, these conditions do not establish exclusive jurisdiction in Dubai to the detriment of consumers. To the extent that the relevant regulations on consumer matters apply, the choice and protection rights provided for therein are not restricted.
Any legal right of withdrawal for a distance selling contract that has actually been concluded is neither excluded by these conditions nor fully explained by the website information alone. The required cancellation instructions must be provided separately for the specific offer before the contract is concluded.
15. Complaints, Dispute Resolution and Final Provisions
You can contact us with any questions or complaints [email protected] direct. Contacting us is not a mandatory requirement for recourse to courts, authorities or other legal avenues for complaint. Statutory deadlines are not automatically suspended by a mere request.
Consumer dispute resolution:
There will be no participation in such a event!
Changes to these conditions apply to existing contractual relationships only in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. Silence or simply continuing to visit the website does not automatically constitute consent. If individual validly included clauses become invalid, the legal consequences will be governed by the applicable law; when applying German general terms and conditions law, in particular according to § 306 BGB. An ineffective clause will not automatically be replaced by a regulation that is as economically similar and equally onerous.
